Do your handmade sweaters end up at the back of your wardrobe?
There’s a fit issue going on that makers can’t put their finger on. It’s why so many handmade garments end up unworn. The Perfect Fit Framework teaches you exactly what it is, and, more importantly, how to fix it.

The complete course to modifying crochet patterns, for makers who are frustrated with guessing
– and ready to turn EVERY crochet project into their favourite wardrobe staple!
You’re already following the pattern’s instructions correctly.
It’s just that the instructions were never written with your body in mind.

If you’ve ever:
Picked your size correctly and still ended up with a garment that doesn’t sit right
Found yourself constantly fiddling with a neckline that keeps sliding towards one shoulder
Made something gorgeous, that you never actually wear
Settled for making shawls and blankets, because at lease those can be one-size-fits-all
There’s a reason for what you’re been noticing. And it’s fixable.
You’ve followed the patterns. You’ve counted every stitch. You’ve taken the time to swatch and match the gauge. And you’ve picked the size that matches your bust measurement. And the finished garment somehow still doesn’t look the same on you as it does on the designer.
And so you go searching for the “perfect pattern”, or wondering if maybe you’re just not skilled enough yet. Maybe your yarn choice was wrong. Maybe handmade clothes just aren’t worth it. Maybe your body shape is the problem.
But what’s really going on is that crochet patterns are written for imaginary bodies. Not real ones.
Every crochet pattern is written to fit a specific set of body proportions. And if you don’t happen to have the exact same measurements as in the size charts? The garment will fit your bust, but nowhere else.
And every time you automatically sized up to fit your chest?
You end up with something oversized and shapeless.
The real gap isn’t even in the pattern, it’s in the size charts.
And once you can easily see where it’s off, you can begin to fix it.
What most makers have probably already tried
What actually works is a different approach to the crochet patterns you already own.
And finally get the answers you’ve been looking for
Introducing:
The Perfect Fit Crochet Framework™
A step-by-step system that teaches you how to recognise where any pattern is off for your body shape, and exactly how to adjust it.
WHAT’S INSIDE?
1. FIT FOUNDATIONS
Understand why your last garment didn’t fit (and why it was never your fault). A clear breakdown of how standard size charts are written and why they assume a body shape that probably doesn’t match yours.
You’ll discover what’s really going on with ‘averages’, how they’re decided, and learn how to take and use your own measurements with confidence.
2. DECODING DESIGNS
Charts, schematics, construction notes, and stitch multiples. By the end of this module you’ll be able to look at any new pattern and tell whether it’s likely to fit your body before you start, and where it’s likely to need adjusting if it doesn’t.
3. DE-MYSTIFYING MODIFICATIONS
This module shows you the difference between a modification and a customisation; where and why to put the designer’s suggestions to work.
You’ll learn the three critical points where shaping makes the biggest impact, and how to read a pattern’s construction so you always know which ones to use.
4. CLEAR & CONFIDENT ADJUSTMENTS
Here’s where theory meets practice. We’ll deep dive into shaping with clear walkthroughs, stitch demos and guides.
Discover how to shape a neckline so it sits properly on your shoulders.
Add Invisible Short Row shaping that allows your garments to move as you do, without gaps or confusing instructions.
And the simple low-math adjustments I use the most often, and when to apply them.
By the end, you won’t just know WHAT to change – you’ll know HOW and WHY to change it, without rewriting every pattern.

Meet Your Teacher, Michelle
Like so many makers, I started crocheting garments because I wanted clothes that actually fit me.
After years of disappointment with store-bought clothing, I assumed handmade was the answer. Until I followed every pattern “correctly,” only to discover my crochet clothes still didn’t fit properly either.
I picked the right size for my bust, made sure my gauge was spot on, and followed every instruction to the letter. Nothing fit the way I was hoping.
So I stopped trying to make garments for myself altogether.
I settled for one-size-fits-all shawls or ponchos, believing that my body must just be too disproportionately-shaped for things to ever fit right. Sound familiar?
What I didn’t realise then, and what I now teach inside The Perfect Fit Framework™, is that my body shape is just fine the way it is.
It was the invisible sizing assumptions built into the foundation of most patterns (the size charts) that was where the problem was hiding. And once I understood that, my garments started looking the way I’d imagined them fitting all along.
I’ve spent more than a decade in the crochet industry. I’ve designed patterns, tech edited for major publications, and mentored well-known designers on grading and shaping, The longer I worked behind the scenes, the clearer it became that what I’d figured out wasn’t being taught anywhere.
Makers shouldn’t be limited to only buying from certain designers with the exact same body shape as them in the hopes that one will fit.
Makers needed the missing piece that makes the patterns they already love work for their actual body.
That’s what The Perfect Fit Framework™ is. A system that brings together what I’ve learned from sewing, garment construction, and professional pattern grading, specifically tailored to crochet.
It teaches you how to work with existing size charts instead of against them, so the next garment you make will be one you actually wear.
Having a fuller bust or different proportions shouldn’t mean settling for shapeless garments or dark colours to disappear behind. You deserve to create garments that you reach for again and again, instead of ones that stay folded up at the back of your wardrobe gathering dust.
Why it Works
Once you can see how a pattern is constructed, you can see exactly where it’s making assumptions about your measurements.
Some assumptions might fit you. Some definitely won’t.
The Perfect Fit Framework Teaches You How To Spot The Difference
And to make specific adjustments only where the pattern is going wrong.
So you can:
– Spot invisible design assumptions that throw off proportions before you even start.
– Know where to make small, simple adjustments that create a garment you actually want to wear.
– Be confident that your next make WILL fit better than store-bought.
Instead of endlessly scrolling for yet another crochet pattern,
learn how to make the ones you already have work for you.
