Freyja, meaning ‘The Lady’ in Old Norse, was one of the most renowned goddesses of Norse mythology, famed for her precious necklace Brisingamen and two beautiful daughters.
SKILL LEVEL:
This is a Beginner Tunisian Crochet pattern for a fully reversible cowl, featuring a traditional Nordic snowflake pattern (using two colors of Wonderfluff). Despite the appearance, there are NO color changes involved! It assumes comfortable knowledge of basic crochet stitches, and includes full photo tutorials of how to set up for Tunisian crochet as well as for the stitches themselves.
MATERIALS:
Size 5 Bulky yarn in 2 colours, 246yds/225m/3oz/85g total.
9mm (USM-13) double ended Tunisian Crochet Hook, and 8mm (US L-11) traditional crochet hook. Alternatively you can use 9mm/8mm interchangeable Tunisian Hooks, or sizes needed to meet gauge.

13 sts x 14 rounds = 4” (10cm) in Tunisian Knit Stitch
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Adult Medium: 25” circumference, 8.5” tall.
Adult Large: 28” circumference, 8.5” tall.
