I’m delighted to be taking part this year in the Cozy Fall Make-along 2021, hosted by Noorain of Noors Knits and Hortense of Knitting with Chopsticks. Each weekday in October ’21, two new 8″ squares (one knit and one crochet) will be released by different designers, and they’re completely FREE! If you want to find all the other squares that were released as part of this Blog Hop, visit Noorain’s roundup blog post to check them out!

Crochet Blanket Square Pattern Notes:

Pattern is written in US crochet terminology.

Chains at the beginning of a round do not count as the first stitch.

Stitch counts do not include corner chain-spaces.

Pattern is written in crochet shorthand; dc 2 means work a double crochet in each of the next two stitches.

( ) = Instructions within parentheses are worked into the same stitch or space.

[ ] / * * = Instructions between brackets or asterisks are worked the total number of times indicated.

When changing colors, the new color is added on the last yarn over that completes the final stitch of the previous round.
